Heliopan Color Conversion Filters

Heliopan KR 1.5 Skylight Filter. 1A
Light Salmon colored skylight filter reduces   the blushes cast in scenic photography, snow scenes. Can also be left on the lens at all times for protection. The Heliopan KR1.5 is closer to the Tiffen and Hoya 81A filters. The Heliopan 81A filter may be too dark for some photographers preference's. No exposure compensation required.

Heliopan KR 3 (81A)
Slightly darker than the KR1.5. Useful in hazy sun light or cloudy overcast sky and higher elevations

Heliopan KR 6 (81EF)
Medium reddish conversion filter suited for photos with daylight color film in deep shadow with sunny illumination.

Heliopan KR 9
Stronger than KR6. Use for heavy daylight shadows or underwater photography.

Heliopan KR 12 (85)
Reddish brown filter to convert tungsten film slide film (3400K) to daylight (5500K)

Heliopan KR 15 (85B)
Used for very high color temperatures. Reduces the color temperature by 2500K to balance daylight film to type B film. Converts 5200K film to 5500 K daylight. Filter factor 2X

Heliopan 81A, 81B and 81C
Similar to KR 3.  Correction is brownish. Well suited for portraits.  Allows for fine adjustment of light balance.  Warming filters.

Heliopan KB 1.5 (82A)
Slightly blue filter. Removes reddish yellow cast during morning and evening hours. Increase color temperature by 200K  Useful for wildlife photography. Often called a morning evening filter

Heliopan KB 3 (82B)
Similar to KB 1.5 corrects red cast from tungsten light when using type B film. Filter factor 1.0X

Heliopan KB 6 (82C)
Medium blue violet filter increase color temperature by 1400K. Eliminates the strong red cast in morning and evening light. Balances strong yellow and brown cast in some situations. Good filter for stage photography.

Heliopan KB 9 (80C)
Increases color temperature by 1700K. Stronger effect than the KB-6. Filter Factor 2.5

Heliopan KB12 (80B)
Converts daylight slide film to use 3400K lamps. (Photo Floods) Filter Factor 3.0X

Heliopan KB 15
For use with daylight film with 3200K tungsten lamps 60 to 100 watt. Filter factor is   4.0X

Heliopan KB 20
Increase color temperature by approximately 2700K can be used with candle light.
Also can be used to achieve night effects during daylight. Filter Factor 5X
